Moy Kebab ( Persian Cuisine )

If you were to find me, you could probably see me here or in jco. I've been a suki here for the past three months I guess. And I always forgot to post about it here, so finally..

It is located beside a subdivision near the Pasig City Police Headquarters almost at the front of Evergreen Chapel, along C. Raymundo Avenue. The place is just fine. Wifi zone and fully air conditioned.

Their rice meals are already accompanied with bottomless iced tea. We always order for Chicken Moy, I mean, A L W A Y S. Once I tried their Beef biryani, but its too spicy for me, my lips felt numb after, and drank more tea than the dish itself. But I still recommend it to those who love their food with different spices.

Chicken Moy is a grilled chicken with special marinade on. It may look typical but it taste really delicious especially if you put those special sauce on it. There are two kind of sauce, the spicy one and the just plain sauce. I like mine with both of it with salt and pepper.

Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie Official Casting

Official casting of the popular book The Fifty Shades of Grey has been finally announced by E.L. James herself through her official twitter account! She first announced who will be Anastasia, followed by Christian Grey. Here are her tweets:

This news was quickly spread out through out the social media and many fans reacted about their opinions about this. Most of the fans who have read the book have same ideal Christian Grey on their mind. The Top 3 most popular and requested were Matt bomer, Ian Somerhalder and Alex Pettyfer. That's why, as expected, most of the feedback was negative.

The producer, Danna Brunetti reacted to this and explained that there is a lot going on in the casting, not just by the looks but they also consider the talent, chemistry between the actors, schedules and how far they are willing to do in some scenes so if what the fans favorite was not cast, then there's something on them that do not fit on the role. Seems like EL James also notice the reactions and tweeted
It was also confirmed that the author's first choice was actually Robert Pattinson and never Bomer and Somerhalder. The expected release date of the movie: August 01, 2014 according to Hunnam tweet.

COMMENT:
I'm honestly disappointed too about who'll gonna play Grey, but I think Dakota is just fine for Anastasia but this casting issues cannot stop me from watching the movie. I think Danna is right, and i would like to quote something she said after explaining the casting procedures "..keep that in mind while hating and keep perspective." So I figured out how will I divert my little disappointment into something positive. Since most of the buzz is about Charlie Hunnam I browse some photos of him which pretty convince me that he actually got shades of Grey after all.

The Conjuring Movie Review

The movie is actually based on the true files of paranormal investigators/researchers Ed and Lorraine Warren. The couple investigated and documented thousand of cases throughout the world and witnessed a lot of unusual things including the "The AmityVille Horror" and "The Haunting in Connecticut".

Overview:
The story concentrated on what Warrens believe to be their most terrifying case, happened 1971 in Harrisville, Rhode Island which involves the Perron family. The family got to move in a new house bought at auction that seems to be a good deal...at first. What they do not know is the history that lies there.

Note:
No spoiler included

Trailer:

Right after watching the trailer, I've decided to watch it.

Review:

Haven't seen a great horror movie lately? This will surely do the trick! It's really hard to watch this alone, though I survive. The fact that this is base on true event, and I really do not believe in this kind of things, after watching the movie, i'm pretty convince. Even though i like watching horror movies, I really do not know Ed and Lorraine. But this movie made me want to read more about them and know more of their cases. Compare to The Haunting in Connecticut, i prefer this one. Although both of them have house issues, if you know what i mean. I like this more because I've seen things I never saw to other horror movies. How it was directed was really great, one of a kind. Defines the true meaning of horror/scary movies, not because of the blood, the creepy killers, nor the place but the story itself. I think the cast did well, the intensity of love between the couple Warrens is very visible, admirable actually. How they want to accomplish their work together, its very inspiring and at the same time, romantic. Haha. After watching the movie, believe me, you'll be intrigue who were the Warrens, how they do their stuffs, and what they have already accomplished.

By the way, I've seen comments of some fans that there will be another two movies about Warrens case files,  i'll definitely watch it!

Will I recommend this?
Of course!A must. Its really amazing. Watch it, and share your thoughts with me in the comment box. I have this thing about the 3:00A.M. but I think i'll make another post about that. Not convince yet? Check this out.

Elf Tinted Moisturizer SPF20 Review

This product contains Aloe, Cucumber, and Vitamin A, C, & E. Aloe and cucumber naturally moisturize skin thus, prevent dryness.  It accelerates regeneration of skin cells and help treat acne.

Very lightweight but fulfilled with content so be careful squeezing because you might pour it all out. Bought this product at Robinson Galleria and paid P250 for it.

Pros:
  • It evens out your skin tone, blends to your skin easily.
  • Moisturize your skin without that greasy feeling.
  • Good as base before applying make up, because the make up stays longer.
  • with SPF20 which protects your skin from harmful sun rays
  • lessens visibility of veins and other minimal marks on skin
Cons:
  • Remember, it's tinted moisturizer, not concealer. Even though its tinted, your pimples or dark spots, will not be really covered.
  • You would want to sealed it tight because minimal effort exerted might pour out all of its content,  you wouldn't want to put it on places where it can be squeeze, like for example, to your school bag full of books, etc.

ELF Studio Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter Review

What I like about this product is that it contains Vitamins A and E, Chamomile, Green Tea and Caffeine, that help your delicate skin around the eyes tighten, causing your eye bags less visible.

I'm not actually looking for highlighter but when I saw this together with a concealer which is something I really need, I thought I might give it a try.

Since its two in one make up, it helped me save a lot of money. Bought this product for only P250 at Robinson Galleria together with two other ELF make ups. The staff there is really charming, she showed me tester of different products I'm interested in and applied some to my skin to see the actual coverage.

Really soft brush and very fluffy, I must say. Applying is not irritating at all. Putting the brush back to container does not make the liquid pour out unlike other make up.
*applied highlighter on brow bone*
Pros
  • It really tightens skin around the eye as it promise
  • Very affordable for a concealer and highlighter
  • Leaves skin healthy and natural looking
  • Natural looking glow (highlighter)
  • Enough amount would emphasize certain areas you want to brighten up like cheek bones and brow bone (highlighter)
Cons
  • it does not really cover or make your dark circles disappear, it just lessen its visibility
  • requires a lot of application for highlighter to see the effect
I will definitely buy more of ELF Cosmetic Products! Watch out for my next reviews about the other two products I bought there.
